Storyline
“Homeboys” is a documentary taking place in Cuarto Flats barrio in East Los Angeles. Following local teens going through life and experiences in the Pico Gardens projects. They discuss the difficulties they face being part of the barrio as well as living as young chicanos in Los Angeles trying to make life for themselves. These teens show their neighborhood and share their culture and its history. As the documentary follows them, one of their homeboys gets married. This wedding has an impact on the homeboys and they share some thoughts about their own futures. A time capsule of a film and a lost film from 1978.
